Your new Mastercard is on the way.
You can continue using your current Visa debit card until you receive and activate your new Mastercard debit card. Your Mastercard will have a new card number, expiration date, and security code (CVV). Once activated, or after Sunday, February 22, your Visa card will no longer function.
If you use your card for automatic payments, please remember to update your card information after activation to avoid any payment interruptions. We know this is an extra step, and we appreciate your patience during the transition.
Activation is easy as 1,2,3!
After you receive your new Mastercard in the mail:
- Call 1-855-485-7039 to activate your new Mastercard, no later than Sunday, February 22
- Reestablish your PIN using automated voice prompts—Business customers will need to enter the company’s EIN (or TIN) and zip code, not the individual employee’s information
- Update any recurring payments or subscriptions linked to your Visa card (such as streaming services, utilities, or online retailers) with your new Mastercard number, expiration date, and security code (CVV)—Personal debit card customers that have used card alerts in the past can log in to the MCB Mobile App, tap More, then select Cards to view your recent debit card transactions to help identify any recurring payments
Once activated, start using your new card wherever Mastercard is accepted—tap, dip, and swipe away!
For additional security and convenience
- Destroy your old Visa debit card to keep your information secure
- Sign the back of your new Mastercard
- Add your new Mastercard to your mobile wallet, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay
- Set card alert preferences in the MCB Mobile App (available for personal debit cards only)—log in to the MCB Mobile App, select More from the bottom navigation, then tap Cards to get started
When you use your Mastercard, you’ll continue to enjoy secure access to your funds with chip technology, fraud monitoring, and zero liability for unauthorized transactions.
