What is the number for telephone banking?

Please call 207-839-5200 to access your MCB accounts. If you have any questions or need assistance resetting your PIN, please call our Customer Service Center at 207-786-5705.

Will my Legacy GSB mobile app automatically update to MCB?

The legacy GSB mobile app has been updated to reflect the MCB name and branding. Your username, password, and app functionality will remain the same. However, you will need to re-enter your credentials the first time you log in. If you have automatic updates enabled, no action is needed—the update will apply automatically.

 

Online Banking

How do I enroll in Online Banking?

If you have a personal deposit or loan account, you can sign up for Online Banking. Once enrolled, you can access account information, transfer money, pay bills and more from your computer or mobile device!

How do I enroll in eStatements?

View and download up to 18 months of statements within Online Banking.

  1. Log in to Online Banking
  2. Select eStatements from the Accounts drop down menu
  3. Click on Delivery Settings
  4. Choose Online as your preferred statement delivery method
  5. Enter the Confirmation Code, then view and agree to the terms and conditions
  6. Your Delivery Preference will then be confirmed

How do I enroll in Bill Pay?

Bill Pay is a simple and secure way to pay bills. Never miss a payment with scheduled reminders, automatic payments, and e-bills.

  1. Log in to Online Banking
  2. Click on Bill Payment in the Move Money drop-down menu
  3. Follow the prompts to enroll
  4. Agree to the Bill Pay Terms & Conditions

Business customers, please reach out to Customer Service or visit your local branch to enroll in Business Bill Pay.

How can I wire money?

Customers enrolled in Online Banking can conveniently  create and send wires within Online Banking:

  1. Log in to Online Banking
  2. Select Wire Transfer under the Move Money  dropdown
  3. Complete the fields to initiate your wire transfer

Customers can also visit a branchfor assistance.

Business customers, please email cashmanagement@maine.bank to request wire access. MCB’s SWIFT code for foreign wires is GSVIUS33.

Can I transfer money to my account at another financial institution?

Customers can transfer funds to and from a non-Maine Community Bank checking or savings account in Online Banking:

  1. Log in to Online Banking
  2. Click on Transfer in the Move Money Movement  drop-down menu
  3. Go to  Manage Accounts, then Add Accounts

How do I reset my Online Banking password?

You can reset your password on the Online Banking login screen by entering your username and selecting the Reset Password? link located below the login box:

On your Account screen, click on Search and type in the search bar. You can search by date range, type, amount, check number, or description.

Can I view a check I deposited in Online Banking?

Yes, you can view images of deposited checks.

Mobile Banking

How do I activate mobile banking?

If you are enrolled in Online Banking, you can start using our mobile app to deposit checks, pay bills, review your account, and transfer funds between accounts, no matter where you are.

How should I sign a check using Mobile Check Deposit?

Checks should be endorsed For Mobile Deposit Only – Maine Community Bank along with your signature. Please Note: Deposited checks must be made payable to you.

How do I search my transactions within the Mobile App?

On your Account screen, click on Filter Transactions and type in the search bar. You can search by date range, type, amount, check number, or description. Click View All to see all recent transactions.

 

Account Inquiries

Where can I find my account number?

This information is on your paper checks. MCB’s routing number is on the lower left-hand side of the check and your individual account number is to the right of the routing number.

If you have Online Banking, you can find your account number under the Account menu on the Detail page by clicking the “view icon” next to the last four-digits under your account name. You can also find it on your eStatements.

How can I update my contact information?

In Online Banking, you can submit an address change request under the Customer Service menu, as well as change your password or update your email under the Self Administration menu.

Can I see my pending deposit?

Some pending transactions can be viewed in Online Banking.

How do I reorder checks?

You will need:

  • MCB routing number: 211274395
  • Your account number (found on the bottom of your check)
  • Your zip code

Debit Cards

How do I report fraudulent debit card transactions?

Please call Chargeback Services at 833-995-2888 from Mon-Fri: 8:00am-9:00pm and Sat: 9:00am-3:00pm.

How do I let MCB know about my travel plans?

We recommend debit cardholders notify us when traveling to help ensure legitimate transactions aren’t flagged by our security and fraud monitoring. Please share the following information with Customer Service before you leave town:

  • Your destination (or destinations)
  • Dates you’ll be traveling

You can also submit a travel note by sending Customer Service a secure message in Online Banking or visit your local branch.

What should I do if my debit, credit, or ATM card has been stolen?

You can also turn off your debit card in the Mobile App by selecting More then Cards.

Why is my debit card not working?

To protect your account, we may have locked your card due to potential fraudulent activity. You may have missed a text or call from us. Please contact Customer Service for assistance.
