Brian O’Coin
Brian brings a wealth of knowledge and more than 16 years of experience to our Commercial Banking team. Most recently at KeyBank, Brian has spent his career in commercial lending working with customers from small local businesses to regional middle-market companies across southern Maine.
He is skilled at building long-term, meaningful relationships with his customers, working tirelessly as their advocate and resource to help them achieve their goals. Brian believes a rising tide lifts all boats: when local businesses thrive, so does our community.
Brian holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maine.
Dave Moravick
Dave has worked in banking for more than 25 years. He excels at helping businesses grow. Having previously owned a small business, Dave understands what it takes to be successful. His clients range from contractors and developers to manufacturing companies. His experience, knowledge, and approachability are why he’s developed so many long-term professional relationships.
Dave holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Saint Joseph’s College. He is very active in the Southern Maine community volunteering his time for organizations such as the Brick Store Museum, Kennebunk Development Corporation, and the McArthur Library Association. To Dave, what sets GSB apart is the depth of expertise of the commercial banking team and their ability to work together to provide clients with creative financing and banking solutions.
Lindsay Harris
Lindsay has over 20 years of experience in commercial banking in various positions and has been with GSB since 2011. She provides her customers with a depth of knowledge, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service which has been recognized over the years with various awards. Lindsay enjoys developing meaningful connections with business owners and helping Maine’s business community thrive.
Lindsay holds degrees from Thomas College in Accounting and Marketing Management. She is involved in the Scarborough community, particularly through the school system and athletics programs, with her two boys.
DeeDee Dusseault
DeeDee has been with GSB since 1992. She started her career as a teller and quickly advanced to work in the accounting, data and item processing, proof, and most recently lead the deposit operations department. DeeDee brings her sparkling personality and outstanding customer service skills to assist our business customers with their cash management needs.
DeeDee holds certified health savings and IRA services professional certifications. She’s always willing to lend a helping hand. To DeeDee, what sets GSB apart is that we know our customers by name, not just by their account number.
Jonathan Berg
Serving Portland and surrounding areas
Jonathan has over 15 years of experience in commercial banking. He joined GSB in 2018 as Senior Portfolio Manager, after working for other financial institutions in the local area. He enjoys connecting with local business owners to understand and support their financing needs. Jon believes our dedication to helping our customers and community is evident in all we do.
Jon holds a bachelor’s in accounting from the University of Southern Maine.
Katie Grant
Serving Portland and surrounding areas
Katie has been on a path to helping local businesses succeed since she started at GSB in 2006. She helped pioneer the bank’s LaunchPad program and was inspired by Maine’s entrepreneur community. Katie joined the Business Banking team in 2015 as a Credit Analyst and soon transitioned to Portfolio Loan Officer.
Katie has a knack for seeing the big picture. She believes in her customers and enjoys helping turn a loan request into reality. She holds a business degree from the University of Southern Maine with a concentration in corporate finance. Katie is a force for good in the community, serving as a volunteer Board Member for Day One.
Todd Abbotoni
Todd brings more than 25 years of industry experience to GSB. He’s held a number of different roles within commercial lending, which has helped him understand every aspect of the commercial loan process from underwriting to document preparation. Todd is an alum of the University of Maine and holds a B.A. in Economics.
Todd enjoys meeting with his clients at their place of business to really understand and learn more about their companies. What makes GSB unique? Todd says it’s the desire to help our customers and provide them with a great experience. We believe in them and want to see them succeed.
Julie Viola
Serving Portland and surrounding areas
Julie has been with GSB since 2001, and with her solid background in commercial credit, she’s helped establish the Small Business Team as a leader in the marketplace. A Portland native and graduate of Portland High School, Julie holds a B.S. from Bentley University and MBA from Thomas College. She was named SBA STAR Award recipient in 2021 by the Maine District Office. Julie volunteers for SCORE as a co-presenter of their quarterly “How To Fund Your Business” workshop, serves as the Treasurer for the Maine Venture Fund, and on the board for MCED. In December 2024, Julie was recognized as the Volunteer of the Year at Gorham Savings Bank.
Julie says what sets GSB apart is that we are truly local – we all live, work and volunteer in the communities we serve. To Julie, Banking is Believing means seeing a customer’s dream become their reality, which is very rewarding.
Matt Early
Matt Early is SVP, Director of Commercial Banking at Maine Community Bank, where he leads the department’s focus on external networking, partnership and relationship-building activities. With over 30 years of experience, Matt is passionate about access to affordable housing and works with many local housing authorities to support development projects.
A graduate of the University of Maine, Matt also holds an MBA from New Hampshire College (now Southern New Hampshire University). He serves on the board for Maine Real Estate & Development Association (MEREDA).
Matt enjoys banking because it’s an opportunity to meet and work with a wide variety of people and businesses. You get to hear, see, and experience their stories—and not only be a part of them, but have a positive impact on them as well. To Matt, community banking means having the opportunity to improve the well-being of our Maine neighbors.
