Dimitri Michaud

Dimitri Michaud was named as the bank’s new chief operating officer in January 2022. He brings nearly two decades of experience in business strategy and operations from leadership roles in the public and private sectors.

Prior to joining GSB, Dimitri was chief operating officer for HealthInfoNet, Maine’s statewide health information exchange. He also served as director of strategy and planning at UNUM and deputy commissioner of finance for the State of Maine. In his roles, he led technical and financial teams focused on executing strategic priorities.

Dimitri holds a B.A. from Colby College and Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland. He serves as a trustee for the Portland Museum of Art and Bigelow Labs and is a board member for the Town of Kennebunkport Budget Board, and The Maine Health and Higher Education Facilities Authority.

Kim Donnelly

As Chief Client Development Officer at Maine Community Bank, Kim Donnelly provides strategic direction for cash management services, residential and consumer lending, as well as the Bank’s wealth management division. She also oversees the bank’s partnership with Bigelow Investment Advisors.

Kim formerly served as executive vice president and director of wealth and business services with Gorham Savings Bank, bringing over 25 years of commercial lending experience to the role. After joining GSB in 2011, she led the Business Banking department and shepherded its growth from a small staff to a robust team managing multi-million-dollar business loans. Intuitive and empathetic, she appreciates the relationships she develops with customers and is truly invested in their success.

Kim is the board chair for the Center for Grieving Children. She is also a long-time volunteer with Junior Achievement and leads PowerServe, a day in her hometown where students and adults volunteer time and materials to work on much needed projects for the community and Windham neighbors.

Julie Brooks

Julie joined GSB in 2011 as compliance officer and was promoted to senior risk officer in 2014. She brings more than 30 years of banking experience and a tireless dedication to her current role of chief risk officer. She is responsible for the Bank’s enterprise risk management program. The thing she enjoys most about banking is the ever-changing environment and the challenges and complexity this creates.

Julie is a certified regulatory compliance manager and earned a B.A. in Political Science at the University of Maine. She is a supporter of Junior Achievement of Maine and volunteers her time to teach financial literacy lessons to students in Greater Portland.

Jeanne Hulit

Jeanne Hulit has over 30 years of banking experience in addition to her experience leading a Maine-based manufacturer and several years in the public sector at the state and federal level. She had the privilege of serving in leadership roles at the U.S. Small Business Administration, serving New England Regional Administrator and Associate Administrator for the SBA’s Office of Capital Access, prior to being named Acting Administrator by President Obama.

Jeanne joined Maine Community Bank in 2018. Within her first 18 months, she orchestrated the successful merger of Biddeford Savings and Mechanics Savings into divisions of Maine Community Bank.

Jeanne earned her bachelor’s degree in international studies from American University. She is active in the community and currently serves on the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, the Maine Mutual Insurance Company (MEMIC), the Maine Bankers Association, and The Opportunity Alliance, a non-profit CAP agency.

Carri L. Brown, CPA

Carri Brown has over 25 years of experience working in the financial services industry and joined Biddeford Savings in March 2009. In her role as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Maine Community Bank, she is responsible for maintaining the bank’s financial and accounting records, as well as developing and implementing the bank’s asset/liability management, liquidity, and other financial policies. She also serves as Treasurer of the Biddeford and Mechanics Savings Charitable Foundation.

Carri is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants National Banking School at the University of Virginia.

Thomas A. MacDonald

Tom MacDonald has worked in the banking industry for over 35 years and began his career with Mechanics Savings in 2006. As Chief Risk Officer, Tom is responsible for the Enterprise Risk, Compliance, Audit, Credit Administration, and Information Security areas of Maine Community Bank.

Tom is a graduate of the University of Maine, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In 2008, Tom earned his MBA from the University of Southern Maine.  He has been involved with the Risk Management Association for 25 years, serving on the Maine Chapter Board for 20 years.  He has also been a member of the Lewiston/Auburn Rotary Club since 2006, most recently serving as its President for the 2018-2019 year.  He is currently a Rotary Board member and is a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow.

Suzanne M. Carney

Suzanne Carney has over 25 years of experience in human resources, finance, and banking and joined Maine Community Bank in 2019 as Senior Vice President, Human Resources Director. In her role, she oversees all aspects of Human Resources including talent management, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and development. In addition, Suzanne also manages the Deposit eServices Operations, Call Center and is the Corporate Secretary for the Bank.

Suzanne has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bryant University and is also a Society of Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SPC). She is a member of the Central Maine Human Resource Association and the Human Resources Association of Southern Maine.
